Skylar's Eye Appointment

While Skylar's relentless picking at his wounds damaged the efforts of his plastic surgeon (more surgeries to come), Skylar had a very positive eye appointment.

On August 11th Skylar had a follow up ophthalmology appointment. His ophthalmologist was very enthusiastic about Skylar's eye exam and improvement. At Skylar's last eye exam he was found to have strabimus, astygmatism as well as constant horizontal nystagmus. Skylar's ophthalmologist stated that the strabismus and astygmatism were GONE! She couldn't explain it, but was very happy to report that these two conditions had resolved! :)  Here's your sign - the power of prayer.

While his constant horizontal nystagmus remains, I am happy to report that it has greatly slowed. Also, that Skylar is learning how to slow it with focus and concentration. :)

HALLELUJAH!

Matthew 7:7-8:   Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

  1. I can explain it - but the doctor may (or may not depending on his belief structure) accept it - it's simply a miracle. Our first adopted had a VSD - fairly severe - I have the echo-cardiogram to prove it. And in the 3 months it took to get her home the issue resolved. Miracle's happen every day like that!

hugs - great joy - aus and co.
